Abstract

The objective of this article is to reflect upon the role of evaluation as an integrative strategy of the pedagogical process and the way it has been transformed from a controlling activity to a discussion field that should be analyzed in pedagogical areas in order to contribute to the qualification of educational praxis. In addition, the texts highlights the importance of assessment as a core for articulating the pedagogical process and it shows some assessment strategies for illustrating their teaching practice potential
