Political-Moral Sense of Young People’s Participation at School

Abstract

This paper is one of the academic products of the research entitled Politicalmoral sense of young people’s participation at school. A perspective by students, teachers and directors from the Agustiniano Norte School and the Instituto San Bernardo de la Salle, which aimed to research the political-moral sense that students, teachers and directors give to young students’ participation in two all-boys, catholic schools in Bogota, ran by religious orders. It was a qualitative research, designed and developed as a multiple case study. The empirical results and its corresponding comparison-discussion with the suggested theory showed the position of the three main actors in the school community, meaning directors, students and teachers, regarding the matter under study.
