Abstract
The following paper has the main objective of presenting the methodology applied in the research “Notions of citizenship and citizen practice in schooled and non-schooled youngsters of the Capital District- Bogota” with a group of native Kankuamos3 youths and how, thanks to the interaction with them, the conceptions of pedagogy and citizenship of this Colombian native people was achieved in terms of learning and comprehension, including the problematic from their refugee condition by war in the capital city of the country, and all the matters this implies for their culture. The epistemological perspective, the research approach, the methodological procedures and the analysis and interpretation data were the main components for this research outcome.
