Problematizing, Planning, Understanding and Meaning: Teaching Strategies for the Humanistic Training Based on the Disciplines

Abstract

In an increasingly complex world, it is impossible to deal with economics, politics, sociology, psychology and emotion separately. This leads us to propose that the educational task demands a re-signification of its mission. For this to be authentic, it must be the responsibility of all educative actors and must be characterized by our understanding of concepts such as human being, society and education. This article highlights four pedagogies that emerge from the “La Salle tradition” and proposes the use of teaching strategies in order to develop aspects such as critical and complex thinking, social, ethical and fairness awareness, and the possibility of linking knowledge that generates creative changes to contribute to a transformation in society.
