Abstract
<p>The article explores how geography, especially critical geography, can contribute to the promotion of critical thinking. This is useful for teachers and researchers when developing curriculum designs for the subject of Geography in all educational levels, from primary to university education, including postgraduate and teacher training programs as well. To this effect, this paper has been divided into three main sections: the first one is dedicated to the analysis of critical thinking; the second examines the analysis of critical geography; while the last section investigates what large groups of topics and concerns can be shared by both disciplines with the aim of improving their mutual relationship.</p>
