Abstract
<p>This paper accounts for a critical analysis of the role of the humanities in the training of technologists at the higher education level, in distance mode. In this context, a deductive study is performed from the documentary review of the Pharmacy Regency and Health Management curricula and the literature relevant to the humanities in distance higher education. This is in order to venture into the current crisis of the humanities in university education and the teaching-learning process in technology programs and their contribution to the academic, personal and professional training of students.</p>
