Abstract
This article accounts for the developmental process and the results obtained during the research entitled “Competencies of critical reading on the internet: strategy for secondary education”. It starts with the contextualization of the situation and its foundations, then methodology is presented, and, finally, the findings and conclusions are indicated. It emphasizes that knowing how to read on the internet is not a task exclusively for students, it is also imperative for teachers; thus, this research outlines a teaching strategy, which aims to develop competencies of critical reading on the internet for secondary education from the classroom.
