Abstract
<p>The purpose is, from a sociohistorical perspective of childhood, to make a brief review of the irruption of childhood and youth as a category of study, as well as to discuss the tensions in the contemporary architecture of subjectivity of new generations regarding the economic, social and political changes of the last decades and, finally, to propose a path for understanding how school is affected by these dynamics.</p>
