Difficulties and Achievements in the Research on the Evaluation of Teaching

Abstract

The following article presents three stages and topics intertwined. First of all, I shall present the contributions of the research process to the formative process of students, and comment the contributions of research to the understanding of assessment view from the focus of teachers and assessors. Then, during the second stage I shall tackle the difficulties and achievements related with the theoretical comprehension that researchers and subject have got on the research about the assessment of teachers. I will emphasize it, due to its complexity and the fact that it is the most significant problem that has been detected in the researches. Finally, from the voices of the researchers, I am going to put together the different formulated questions with the aim of proposing some points of reflection about the importance that research has got over the assessment of teachers
