Abstract

In the framework of the Master in Teaching at the University of La Salle, this research project entitled Religious beliefs in students of tenth and eleventh grades in partner schools (colegios de convenio) in Bogotá aims to determine religious beliefs in students, seeking to demonstrate the development of their spiritual dimension. Using a mixed approach, two techniques were applied: survey and its instrument, the questionnaire; and focus group interviews with interview scripts. After analyzing the data it was found that religious beliefs inherited in the family are a result of imposition, and, therefore, they are accepted by identification as children grow up, and that young people have a strong spiritual sensitivity.
