Abstract
<p>Learning assessment alternatives in the economic field are the result of an investigation conducted in the third semester of Accounting School at the University of the Amazon. The research experience arose from the need to identify alternative evaluation methods that really contributed to the professional development of students. A critical approach was used for the investigation, and surveys and interviews were used for gathering information. Among the main findings is that, despite persistence of the traditional model, the implementation of alternative assessment methods for developing skills is well received and new ideas for organizational growth and production are provided.</p>
