Abstract
This paper talks about practice communities, understood as emerging learning systems in the context of a research project known as narratopedia. It starts by wondering how we understand the pedagogical dimension in narratopedia, and what the concept is of the learning model we propose, based on the principles that make up Web 2.0. Furthermore, and based on this question, a series of concepts and principles are developed of what we understand by practice communities and of how systems are emerging from the creation of collective narratives. The characteristics of the emerging practice communities are explained, as are the reasons why the narratopedia project can be understood as an emerging system that develops practice communities. Finally, the article talks about the way learning is being developed in narratopedia and some conclusions on this reflective exercise
