Abstract
The article presents some theoretical approaches about the relationships between learning and motivation in the classroom, highlighting a study of college students. In this research, sectional in nature, empirical and descriptive variables were considered learning styles and motivational categories, based on the theoretical proposals of Alonso, Gallego and Honey (1994) and Adar (1969), in order to determine their possible relationships in a context of higher education.
